tides

Tides is a whole-body massager designed by Salomé Bazin (founder of Cellule Studio) in collaboration with Giulia Tomasello. Tides is designed to be used as part of a self-care routine by those experiencing menopause.

For this project, Kai Lab designed a circuit board that controlled the motor speed and user interface for the massager. This included a low-power standby mode that allows the user to activate the device with a press and hold button, rather than slide and switch. Kai Lab designed the circuit board in Eagle, and fabricated this in-house using surface mount assembly.
