Sinusoidal Noise [ 1x1 ]

Sinusoidal Noise [ 1x1 ]
/// Batch 1 – Delivery April 2026 ///
Nine analogue light pixels form a 3×3 grid. Each is driven by its own sine-wave oscillator. Minute discrepancies in component values cause the frequencies to drift naturally out of alignment. There is no programming and no adjustable setting. The movement arises purely from analogue variation. As the oscillators move in and out of phase, fleeting patterns appear and dissolve across the grid. The work never loops and never truly repeats. The behaviour is a continuous consequence of physical imperfection.
The LED circuitry is entirely analogue, with no digital dimming or PWM, allowing each pixel to fade smoothly with zero flicker.
Materials: Powder-coated folded aluminium, bespoke analogue oscillator and LED driver board. Power cable included.
