Conversations - a performance for violin and quadrophonic polyrhythm drum.

Conversations is a duet for live violin and performative sculpture, developed in collaboration with composer/violinist Aliayta Foon-Dancoes in 2023.

Subverting the audience’s experience of traditional chamber music, Conversations brings classical violin together with a chaotic, unpredictable and technologically-driven percussive sculpture. The pieces welcomes the audience to explore the interplay between these two disparate instruments, as an intimate and almost secretive relationship unfolds.
